Pretty in Pink Makeup Tutorial

For my first post I am showing you all a nice simple makeup tutorial. I have been wearing this look for the past two weeks. I love it, and it only takes a couple minutes. This look is the perfect summer look with a hint of pink.I will show you step by step how to get this look. Lets get started............

Here is a glimpse at all the products I will be using for this look......and yes its all drugstore.

Step 1
The first thing I like to do is put on chap stick or in this tutorial my eos lip balm. I do this before I start putting my makeup on so when I apply lipstick or gloss, it makes my lips smooth and not flaky. I found this at Target for around $3.

Step 2
After I apply my lip balm, I apply under eye concealer. The concealer I used was the Maybelline instant age rewind dark circle concealer in neutralizer. This you can find at target or drugstores for around $8. I have been using this under eye concealer for over a year and still really love it. It works great. To blend this in I use a e.l.f. foundation brush. The foundation brush you can get at Target for $1.
Maybeliine instant age rewind dark circles-$7.99

Step 3
The next thing is to put foundation on. The foundation I use is the Neutrogena shine control makeup in classic ivory. To apply the foundation I use a beauty blender sponge I got at target for $5. Make sure you get the sponge wet before you apply the foundation.

Step 4
To set the foundation I use the rimmel london stay matte powder in 001 transparent. This product is amazing it is very light and gives good coverage. You can find this at target for $3.99. To apply this I use the e.l.f. powder brush. You can find them at target for $1. Once I have applied powder I use the NYC bronzer in sunny. This is one of my favorite brozers I have found. It is very affordable and works great. You can find this for $4 at Target or Walmart. I used the same e.l.f powder brush to apply the bronzer as I did the powder.
Rimmel London Powder- $3.99 & NYC bronzer -$4.

Step 5
Next thing is to apply blush. The blush I used is the Maybelline fit me blush in light rose. This shade is a new shade for Maybelline. I found it at target for $4.99 to apply this brush I used a brush I ordered on amazon. It is a cheaper sigma brush set.

Step 6
Now for eye shadow. For a base I like to use the Maybelline color tattoo in inked in pink. This color tattoo came out last year and I couldn't really figure out how to use it until I found this palette. The palette I am using is the Revlon colorstay quad in sun swept. I was attracted to this palette because I loved the tutorial is showed on the back. I first use the white shade as a high light under my eyebrow. Then I take the pink shade and put it all over my lid. I use the grayish shade and put it in the crease. Then I use the fun turquoise shade and put it on the outer corner of my eyelid. I used the e.l.f. crease brush for this quad, which you can buy at target for $1.

Step 7
Once I am finished putting the eyeshadow. I put eyeliner on. The eyeliner I use is the CoverGirl perfect point plus in black onyx. I have used this eyeliner since I first started wearing makeup in 7th grade. I love this stuff, my mom and sister use this and we always repurchase it. This is $5.99 at Target. I put this on my water line.

Step 8
Next I apply mascara. My favorite mascara so far is the Maybelline the rocket. I have been using this for the past month and have not wanted to use any other. I love how it makes your lashes feel and look. I use this on both the top and bottom lashes. This product is about $6. If you want to you can also use a lash curler before you apply the mascara.
Maybelline The Rocket-$6.
Step 9
Finally, the last thing I like to do is to put color of my lips. Today I will use the Revlon lip butter in Strawberry Shortcake. I got this from Target when they were $5, but they usually retail for $6-7. I love this lip butter because it gives a little bit of a pink color, but its not to drastic. I feel like it completes the whole look.
